OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
As DURKAR CARPET; We are committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment for all our employees within the framework of legal and humanitarian standards. We direct our work with the awareness that all occupational accidents and occupational diseases are preventable. We aim to create a safety culture in all our employees. We act in accordance with legal laws in the working conditions of our young employees, new mothers, women expecting children and our disabled employees. We do not employ child labor and we do not accept to work.
PREGNANCY RIGHTS POLICY
Within the scope of 4857/74;
Women workers should not be employed for a total of 16 weeks, 8 weeks before and 8 weeks after birth.
In multiple pregnancies, 2 weeks are added to the prenatal leave period. Provided that it is based on the request of the worker and the doctor's report, it is possible to work until 3 weeks before the birth, in this case, the unused leave period before the birth can be transferred to the postnatal period.
Up to 6 months of unpaid leave is given to a worker who makes a written request at the end of this leave. Also; the worker who starts work at the end of the leave will be given 1.5 hours milk leave until the child reaches the age of 1
Employee returning from postnatal leave will continue to have rights before birth
